Students from Taiwan visited the university yesterday with an international initiative to promote culture exchange. This initiative helps the youth learn and experience other cultures around the world.
Students from Wits University and the Taiwan University socialised in the morning over an Asian breakfast at Hofmeyer House on west campus, and later performed at the Wits Amphitheater.
The performance included song and dance in order to show South Africans their culture and traditions. This group of six Asian students are part of a group of 35 students who will be travelling around the world doing similar activities.
